WeaverÆ 5th Grade Penmanship to Praise uses scripture verses for practice. Designed for the Weaver CurriculumÆ, the verses coincide with the Volumes. However, this program works very well by itself. Use the verses supplied, or choose your own. You're the teacher—you make the decisions in your homeschool.

Daily lesson plans take you through each of the first four days of the week. You pick the verse and your child writes it each day, often memorizing it along the way—an added benefit! On the fifth day, your child chooses a border sheet from the back of the book. Border sheets have age-appropriate graphics to make the page look fancy. After writing the verse in their best handwriting, your child has the option of coloring their border sheet for display. An extra line is included for practicing strokes, or specific letters.
